Both parties explained that this elimination is part of the “Langit Biru” program initiated by Pertamina two years ago.

 

Nicke Widyawati also stated that this discourse has become a government program, with the central government directly regulating prices.

 

It is hoped that in the future, Pertamax Green 92 will be included in subsidized fuels to replace Pertalite.

 

Pertamax Emerges as Pertalite's Replacement

 

As a substitute for subsidized Pertalite gasoline, Pertamax will be available at reasonable prices. However, as of now, Pertamina has not officially released the price of Pertamax Green 92.

 

According to MyPertamina.id, the benchmark price of Pertamax Green 95 is IDR 13,900 per liter for the provinces of DKI Jakarta and East Java (as of January 1, 2024). Meanwhile, Pertamax Turbo is priced around IDR 14,400 per liter for DKI Jakarta and surrounding areas.

 

Nevertheless, Pertamax Green 92, as a replacement for the discontinued Pertalite, is expected to be priced below IDR 13,500 per liter, considering that the current price of Pertalite gasoline is IDR 10,000.
