1. Check Electronic Tickets Through the Website

2. Access the webpage at https://etle-pmj.info/id/check-data

3. Input the license plate number, engine number, and chassis number based on your vehicle's STNK (vehicle registration document).

4. Choose "Check Data."

5. In case of no violations, the message "No data available" will be displayed.

6. If there is a violation, details such as time, location, violation status, and vehicle type will be shown

 

 

Verify Electronic Tickets Using the Police Super App

1. Download the Polri Super App from either the Play Store or App Store.

2. Access the e-ticket section within the app.

3. Input the license plate number, engine number, and chassis number as per your STNK.

4. If no violations have been committed, the message "No data available" will be displayed.

5. In case of a violation, information such as the time, location, violation status, and vehicle type will be presented.

6. Once you have obtained the violation details, proceed to the payment section.

7. A payment code and the corresponding fine rate will be provided.

8. Make the payment through a bank transfer using an ATM or mobile banking.

9. Retain proof of payment and visit the nearest Samsat office.

Workflow of Electronic Tickets

The process of electronic fines via the Electronic Traffic Law Enforcement (ETLE) system involves multiple stages, starting from receiving a ticket to resolving the issue. Here is an overview of the electronic ticket workflow:

 

1. Detection

The initial stage is the detection of vehicle violations. The ETLE device operates automatically to capture traffic violations using a central control system. Once evidence of the violations, such as photos and videos, is collected, it is forwarded to the local Polda's ETLE Back Office.

 

2. Identification

The second stage involves identifying the vehicle involved in the violation. The assigned officer will utilize Electronic Registration and Identification, examining the vehicle data captured by the CCTV camera. Valid sources of vehicle data are essential for accurate identification.

 

3. Send Mail

The third stage focuses on mail delivery. The officer will send a confirmation letter to the registered address of the vehicle owner. This letter requests confirmation of the committed violation.  In addition, the confirmation letter may also be sent electronically via email.

 

4. Confirmation

Moving on to the fourth stage, it entails the confirmation of the violation. The received confirmation letter serves as the initial step of the legal process. It is crucial to confirm vehicle ownership and driver details at the time of the violation stated in the letter. If the violating vehicle on the confirmation letter is not yours, you must confirm it immediately. 5. Issuance of Tickets

The last stage is the issuance of a ticket which is carried out after the violation is confirmed. The officer will generate a ticket using the payment method via BRI Virtual Account (BRIVA) for each verified violation.

 

 

The Amount of Electronic Ticket Fines

The rates charged in electronic ticket fines vary according to the type of violation committed. Here are some of the electronic fines that you have to pay when you violate:

1. Violation of using a cell phone while driving will result in a fine of IDR 750,000 or a maximum of 3 months in prison.

2. Violation of not wearing a helmet while riding a motorbike will result in a fine of IDR 250,000 or a maximum of 1 month in prison.

3. Violation of not using a seat belt in the car will result in a fine of IDR 250,000 or a maximum of 1 month in prison.

4. Violation of traffic signs and road markings will result in a fine of IDR 500,000 or a maximum of 2 months in prison.

5. Violation of using a fake number plate will result in a fine of IDR 500,000 or a maximum of 2 months in prison.

How to Pay Electronic Ticket Fines

If you receive an electronic ticket, it is necessary to settle the fine before the specified deadline. Here are the steps to pay electronic ticket fines:

1. Once you have confirmed the violation, the violation confirmation site mentioned on the ticket will display the payable fine amount.

2. A short message (SMS) will be sent to you containing the BRI Virtual Account (BRIVA) code for making the fine payment.

3. You have the option to make the payment through bank transfer or attend the scheduled court hearing in person.

4. The deadline for paying electronic ticket fines is 15 days from the date of the violation. Failure to pay or missing the deadline will result in a temporary block on your STNK (vehicle registration document) until the fine is settled.
